As a teacher with over fifteen years experience, my mission is to cultivate students’ technique and inspire their musical expression through a growth and goal oriented approach. I emphasize critical thinking in my students to develop their metacognitive skills and practice habits. I have had the privilege of studying with some of the top trumpet instructors in the world including Thomas Stevens, Edward Carroll, and Craig Morris. Through a diligent and creative application of relevant learning materials, those who are interested will grow as players and as musicians, from beginner through professional.
